2025 Tasmanian NAWIC Awards

We are proud to announce that Managing Director Karryn Dargie has received the NAWIC Tasmania Contribution to Design Award 2025. She earned this award for her role in the ongoing development of our product range, IN-TERIA Goods.

The National Association of Women in Construction Awards celebrates the contributions of women in construction. The not-for-profit organisation aims to empower women through advocacy and lobbying for change. It also provides education opportunities. Additionally, it creates a community for women and allies in the industry.

Karryn took the opportunity whilst on stage to acknowledge the continued contributions of women over 50. This cohort has spent many decades working in the industry, largely unseen. Karryn also highlighted the Design Institute of Australia’s advocacy for the inclusion of the Interior Design profession in the various State Government Building Design Practitioner Frameworks. Regulation of the profession is critical to protecting consumers. This applies to both clients and end users of Interior Design services.

Karryn’s award was sponsored by Tasmanian business, Drilling Dynamics and Karryn is pictured with Louise Cooper, Director.
