TMAG Dinner

IN-TERIA was engaged to design a pop-up restaurant celebrating Tasmanian architecture in the central void of the Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery. Using the  COLOURS of the chairs as the generator for the event concept ~ black/red/orange/purple ~ the project also called for a temporary kitchen for the colour-themed food.

We created the tablecloths by painting drop cloths in the Art School loading dock. We decorated the tables with fruit and vegetables in the theme colours. Delisious dishes were served on timber floorboard offcuts. Asta performed ‘My Heart is on Fire’, whilst gold confetti fell from the balconies over the celebrations.
